Musings - Hot Toys Announces Appleseed Saga Ex Machina License!

This month sees Hot Toys announcing that they have obtained the license to the upcoming Appleseed Saga Ex Machina animated movie! If you have caught the first Appleseed movie (now available on DVD), you would know how awesome it is. Even better news for us 1/6 collectors is that Hot Toys will be producing 1/6 products from this newly acquired license! And everything is happening in this month of October!
Appleseed Saga Ex Machina is slated for an October 20th release in Japan. Here’s the official movie website (http://www.exmachina.jp/). Characters like Deunan Knute and Briareos will once again be seen in this movie. Speaking about Deunan and Briareos, it will definitely be a treat if 1/6 figures of them are produced! I am most confident that Hot Toys will do a fantastic job!
John Woo is also the producer of this movie. Hopefully his financial investment makes all resources available to the production team to make this movie even better than the original.
